Details Description Fit:This kit fits most current model MODEL NIKKI CARBS.ON 2 & 3 cylinder. This kit fits engines used in JOHN-DEERE 318-320 tractors plus a lot of JAPANESE ENGINES. Replace John Deere ONAN P216 P218 P220 Nikki Carburetor kit. Models:Ranger 8 welder with the Onan Prefromer 16 engine, newer Onan P220 made by Robin, carburetor on JD318. Package Includes both needle valves, intake manifold gaskets as well. Removal Remove air cleaner assembly. Disconnect governor and throttle inkage, choke control, and fuel line from carburetor. Remove the four intake manifold cap screws and lift complete manifold assembly from engine. Remove carburetor rom ntake manifold. Disassembly Remove main jet and idle adjustment need. Remove attaching screws and separate upper and lower carburetor section. Carefully note position of float assembly parts, then pull out retaining pin and float assembly. Remove the needle valve. Clean and Repair 1.Soak all metal components not replaced in carburetor cleaner. 2.Do not soak non-metal floats or other non-metal parts. Follow he cleaning manu-facturer's recommendations. 3.Clean all carbon from the carburetor bore, especially where the throttle and choke plates seat. Be careful not to plug the idle or main fuel ports. 4. Dry ou tall passages with low pressure air(35PSI). Avoid using wire or other objects for cleaning which may increase the size of critical passages. 5. Check the condition of head adjustment needle; replace if damaged. Replace float if loaded with fuel or damaged. 6. Check the choke and throttle shafts for excessive play in their bore. This condition may necessitate replacement of the carburetor. 7. Replace old components with new parts.
