I offer only what the tractor had available and do my best to accurately describe the item.This listing is for an original front engine plate that was removed from a John Deere Model M tractor engine. It is a genuine John Deere tractor part. Has been inside storage since I stripped it of paint. It was a left over part after a restoration. It is a solid part. Has sat on the shelf since removal. Shows the usual signs of fair wear and tear from parts this age, but still is in pretty good shape. Buyers must conduct their own research to determine if this component will fit their tractors. I am not responsible for you buying the wrong part. May fit these other JD tractors, MT, MC, 40. I am no longer restoring tractors. Comes with what you see in the photos and requires priming and painting to restore it.This is not a new part. It is an old part. You are considering purchase of salvage tractor parts from a salvage tractor that is being parted out. I have no way to determine serviceability other than a visual inspection. I can not x-ray or conduct dye penetrate inspection. Buyer should anticipate having to rebuild this item. Once in a while a buyer is dissatisfied with and old tractor part.
