John Deere LX178 15hp Kawasaki Engine FD440V AM121368

Used 15Hp Kawasaki engine off a JD LX178.  In good shape, compression is good, at 175#, and 170#.  Starts easily, no smoke, no leaks, runs strong, no odd noises.  Has a new carburetor and fuel pump, but not sure on water pump, probably a good idea to change out the water pump while it is off the unit.  Hours on engines are unknown, these units usually do not have hour meters.  Just mount up and add fuel and oil, oil filter.  Engine is complete, but dose not come with the muffler, air shield, radiator, pto, fuel, or oil. Drive shaft is 1" in Dia, and 3 3/8" in long, is keyed and threaded.  Engine fits many models and manufactures, please check your application before purchase.  No warranty on engines.Engine will be shipped Via FedEx, in a crate.  Engine will not be shipped with fuel or oil, oil will need to be added before operation.  Engine ships to lower 48 states only, no p.o. boxes.
