John Deere “B” Fits – 1935 to 1952 John Deere 2.4L 2-cyl Engines No Rust Ever – Grade 18-8 Stainless Steel Easy Installation - Adds Sparkle
To A Dull Area The factory original equipment valve cover nuts were painted, common steel fasteners. After 70 or 80 years those two acorn nuts most likely look very tired. It is probably time that you spent a few dollars and replaced them. Our shiny stainless steel acorns cap nuts look great as is, but if you want them to be green, just spray them like any other metal part. These acorn nuts will not rust even if the paint gets chipped. Three Washer Choices: 1.) Split ring lock washers
- helps keep the nuts tight
2.) Small OD flat washers - tuck neatly under the nuts
3.) Large OD flat washers - spreads the load over a wider area Our stainless acorn nuts are the EXACT size threads as the
originals and fit perfectly. Our stainless parts will put a smile on your face
every time that you glance at the front of your JD engine. _________________________________________________________ INSTALLATION: You will need only very common tools to remove the original nuts
and to install our new stainless hardware.NOTE: For added protection, apply a small amount of anti-seize
lubricant to the threads during installation … not included in this pack. _________________________________________________________ This packet contains enough hardware
to upgrade one 2-cylinder JD engine.

The Pricing?Why do these
smaller acorn nuts for the JD B cost MORE
than the larger acorn nuts for the JD A??? The
answer is that the JD B acorn nuts are not a standard size
and therefore cost a little more.
